RIDGEWAY BARBURY CASTLE 2009 A low quality *provisional* route map of the routes as used in 2009 is shown below for informational purposes only - further details of distances/loops etc. for 2010 will be posted in due course.
The 2009 route consisted of the following 7 different loops:- Loop 1 50km (in red) Loop 2 40km (in blue) Loop 3 34km (in green) Loop 4 32km (in yellow) Loop 5 24km (in orange) Loop 6 20km (in pink) Loop 7 16km (in black) Barbury Castle Estate is located 3 miles North West of Marlborough, Wilts. See 'Maybach Barbury Castle Horse Trials' on map below for location of EGB Ridgeway venue. Directions from the South: A338/A346 from Salisbury to Marlborough. Directions from the North: A419 (from Cirencester) or A420 (from Oxford) to Swindon then A346 towards Marlborough. Directions from the East/West: Exit M4 Junction 15; A346 to Marlborough, Proceed past Marlborough Golf Club on the right. At top of hill, take first right, then right again towards Rockley and Broad Hinton. Follow signs to Point to Point Course. |
